We also know that achieving true equity starts with addressing the issues that disproportionately impact communities of color. That’s why the BMO EMpower Fund is committed to making investments that address longstanding racial and gender gaps in wealth, education, healthcare and job creation. It includes dedicating $30 million in capital to support women-, Black- and Latinx-owned companies across the U.S. and Canada, providing these businesses with the financial resources they need to grow and scale their businesses.
