Responsible for credit structuring advisory and approval of the largest and most complex credit transactions across BMO Harris Commercial Bank US. On a transactional basis and with the Head of US Diversified Industries, responsible for the quality of Diversified Industries Commercial Bank loan portfolio. Other accountabilities include providing, enhancing and developing credit and structuring skills and capability within commercial segments by working with Regional and LOB Executives and their teams in complex deal structuring. Energetic change manager with proven ability to engage across segments, generations, and geographies. Key ideation leader and contributor who drives improvements to process including speed to market, simplification of policy and procedure, improving data usage for efficiency, and managing portfolio risk. Full credit limit including recommendation sign off process on behalf of the Head of US Diversified Industries. Work with Senior Leadership team to execute and implement 3-5 year strategy in delivering all aspects of the commercial banking product offering, and executing on the consolidated annual business plans. Engage with all banking groups to provide tailored multi-disciplinary solutions on behalf of the commercial sector. Maintain cross-functional relationships with other groups, provide business and executive support as warranted, ensure sound policies/process and provide direction and guidance on any updates or changes.
Accountable for direct management of Underwriting Support and Administration Group (100+ FTEs) including US Cross-Border Lending, US Single Product, offshore resources, and multiple project teams. Direct credit and business risk oversight includes managed teams plus $63B in national practices including Diversified Industries, Engineering and Construction, Institutional Markets, Mid-Corporate, Treasury Payment Services, Food and Consumer, and CRE. Member of multiple leadership committees with personal interest in Diversity & Inclusion activities, informal mentoring, and organizational culture.
