Originally from Thunder Bay, Canada, Paul moved to the U.S. in 1997 to pursue his MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Following graduation, he joined a 2-year Leadership Development Program at Fifth Third Bank in Grand Rapids, MI. In 2001, Paul moved to Chicago to build Fifth Third Bank’s Commercial Banking Finance team in that market. He transitioned to a Commercial Real Estate role and built a team to focus on the needs of small real estate developers. In 2010, he joined MB Financial, shifting to a C&I banker role and in 2019, Paul joined BMO.

Over the last five years, he has built BMO’s middle market presence in the Insurance Distribution sector, working with insurance agencies & brokers and supporting other bankers with their insurance opportunities. His collaborative approach has built credibility and respect with peers and clients alike.

Paul resides in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago with his wife and two children, and enjoys playing hockey & watching his daughter’s travel soccer games on weekends.
