Mark Frankel is a Managing Director and Co-Head of BMO’s Core Commercial Real Estate team which is focused on serving institutional real estate clients with a national footprint.
Mark has been with BMO since 2013 and has 21 years of experience in commercial banking, commercial real estate and capital markets. Prior to his current role, Mark led BMO’s CRE syndication team successfully placing $6.5Bn of debt across 150 deals. Prior to joining BMO, Mark worked at JPMorgan where he was responsible for underwriting and structuring CRE loans.
Mark holds a BBA from the Ross School of Business (University of Michigan) and an MBA from the Booth School of Business (University of Chicago). He is currently co-president of the Real Estate Lenders Association Chicago Chapter and a board member for the not-for-profit organization Connections for the Homeless.
