Andre Salvi is Head, Commercial Dealer Finance, Canada. Having joined BMO in 1999, Andre has held senior roles in BMO’s investment banking; private equity and mezzanine financing; emerging payments and technology; partnerships and strategic investments; and asset-based lending teams. Most recently, he was Head of BMO's North American Technology and Innovation Banking team, spanning commercial banking and capital markets client segments in both Canada and the U.S.
Andre began his career at BMO in BMO Capital Markets’ Diversified Industries Group, where he worked on a variety of assignments across several industries, including initial public and secondary offerings, as well as public and private merger and acquisition mandates. Andre has originated, structured and executed a number of investments and partnerships in a variety of sectors. He has extensive experience working closely with companies through all lifecycle stages.
Andre holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MBA (with distinction) from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
