Clare has worked as a lender in the media space for over 20 years and has completed hundreds of financings in that time. Clare joined Aver Media Finance (now BMO Media Finance) in 2007.  Prior to that, Clare was a Senior Account Manager in the film and television division of National Bank, working out of Toronto and managing the division’s office in Vancouver—her hometown. As a lender Clare has worked on film and television financings across North America as well as internationally. Prior to banking, Clare worked in the Business Affairs division of Alliance Atlantis Communications with a focus on television production. Clare is also an active member of Women in Film and Television (WIFT) and, together with BMO, has sponsored and hosted many networking and learning events for WIFT Toronto.

Clare has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a BA in Film Studies from Queen’s University.
