Lyla Kanji is the Head, Asset Based Lending, and brings 20 years of experience in originating and executing complex transactions in the Capital Markets and Commercial Bank segment. She is responsible for leading the Asset Based Lending segment in Canada, including driving segment strategy, customer acquisition and overall portfolio accountability. Lyla previously served as the Head of Loan Syndications for Commercial Bank, Canada, and has significant international work experience in Asia before joining BMO in 2008.

Lyla holds an M.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.
