Devon Dayton has over 15 years of experience in Corporate & Commercial banking and is currently Head, Technology Banking, Growth & Innocation at BMO.  He joined BMO 4 years ago and was critical to the launch of BMO’s North American Technology and Innovation Banking Group to accelerate BMO’s growth in the technology sector.  Prior to joining BMO, he launched and led a competing Bank’s technology practice and supported the acquisition of a prominent Venture Debt player.  Having focused exclusively on banking for the technology sector over the past number of years he brings a high degree of expertise in debt financings for the sector.

 

Devon started his career with Scotiabank where he held various roles within Corporate & Commercial banking that included credit structuring, relationship management and leading the mid-market cashflow lending initiative.

 

Devon holds an MBA and a B.A in Economics from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
