Blair Doell, BMO

Blair Doell is the Vice President of Prairies Canadian Commercial Banking with BMO Bank of Montreal. He is responsible for 10 Senior Relationship Managers in Commercial Mid-Market Banking across Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Blair joined the Bank of Montreal in 2006 and throughout his 17-year tenure has held various person banking positions in the Winnipeg local market. In 2014, he joined Commercial Banking in the role as first a Small Business Banker, Independent Business Banker, and a Senior Relationship Manager over the next 9 years. In 2022, he was appointed Vice President of Canadian Commercial Banking in Manitoba.


Blair has previously lent his experience to charitable causes including as a volunteer since 2006 at Koats for Kids. Leading local BMO teams as an organizer for BMO’s Bell Walk for Kids, Chairing BMO’s Bear Paw Golf Tournament in support of Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. During his time as chair, the BMO Bear Paw’s increased their fundraising goals and initiatives which led to $150,000 raised in those 3 years. Since inception, the BMO Bear Paw has raised over $2,500,000 and has become the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba largest golf tournament fundraiser. Blair was also a board member of the Risk Management Association (RMA)– Manitoba Chapter for 7 years as well as a founding member of the RMA Young People Manitoba during his time there. In early 2023, Blair was nominated as a Board Member to the Misericordia Hospital Foundation and for the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre.


Blair has a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Political Science) from the University of Manitoba.
