Aaron is a Managing Director with BMO Capital Partners.  He originally joined the team as an Associate in 2010, promoted to Director in 2012 and Senior Relationship Manager in Diversified Industries in 2014.  Most recently, Aaron was at HSBC where he helped establish a private equity sponsor coverage & leveraged finance business. Earlier in his career, Aaron was a Portfolio Manager, Private Equity & Infrastructure Investments at the Canada Post Pension Fund, and on the Investments Team at Export Development Canada (EDC).   

He currently serves as Co-chair of the Shaw Boxing Organizing Committee, and previously on the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (“CVCA”) YPC and Professional Development Committees.  Aaron has also served on numerous private equity & venture capital fund advisory boards, and on portfolio company board of directors during his tenor at BMO.   Aaron has a Master of Finance (MFin) degree from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and a BCom (with distinction) from the University of Victoria.
